We’ve rolled out new updates to make your experience smoother and more versatile. This month, we are introducing high-frequency utility payments to drive user engagement, alongside specialized governance tools for our enterprise partners.
Here's what's new:
1. Pay essential bills with the new Utility Category on Xoxoday Plum Pro API
The Utility category is now live! Your users can now pay essential bills such as electricity, water, gas, internet, and mobile postpaid directly using the Xoxoday Plum Pro API. With real-time bill fetch and instant payment confirmation, businesses can offer seamless monthly bill payments without adding new integrations or operational overhead. This brings a practical and high-frequency use case into your rewards ecosystem.
2. Strengthen governance with Maker-Checker workflow For organizations that require stringent audit trails, we have introduced a Maker-Checker workflow on the Xoxoday Plum platform to enforce stronger governance. This workflow is currently enabled for select critical flows including User Management, Catalogue Management, and Discount Voucher Management. In these areas, any key admin action requires secondary approval. This ensures compliance, reduces risk, and prevents unauthorized or accidental changes.
This capability is currently available to select Enterprise Pilot partners and will be rolled out more broadly in upcoming phases.
3. Run smart promotions with Dynamic Voucher Management
Marketing teams can now independently create and run Discount Coupon Campaigns by distributing coupons to select customers or prospects. This module provides granular control over discount types, usage limits, and campaign validity. It allows marketing teams to tailor each promotion to the right audience within Xoxoday Plum. The dashboard enables teams to configure and deploy agile promotions instantly without relying on backend support for voucher creation
This feature is currently available to select Enterprise Pilot partners and will be rolled out to wider audiences in upcoming phases.
Upcoming features
⭐ Rate limiting for Xoxoday Plum Pro APIs: We’ll be implementing rate limiting across key Xoxoday Plum Pro APIs to improve stability, prevent abuse, and ensure fair usage. This enhancement will apply client-based limits managed through MongoDB for flexibility and better performance control.
⭐ Real-time gift card catalog updates: We’ll be implementing webhooks for Xoxoday Gift Card APIs to notify customers in real time about product updates such as enable/disable status, denomination changes, and other catalog modifications.
